WHO WE ARE

Colaj is a diverse urban innovative non-profit agency. Our work provides a range of art-related activities and programs through collaboration with mentors, youth, and young adults in Chicago south side neighborhoods.

WHAT WE DO

Colaj is a program that directly responds to youth and college students who need or can benefit from development with real-world projects and guidance on their creative paths. The goal of our programs is to identify youth who have an interest within careers in the arts to build portfolios and work on projects while establishing an art community. The advantage of our programs is to offer help to elementary, high school, and college level students. We believe in bridging the gap between the groups by having them exchange educational information, as well as develop creative mentorship within the communities and states.
