OUR PROGRAMS
Our enrichment programs serve youth and young adults ranging from beginner to advanced level. Our programs include photography, graphic design, fashion design, drawing/illustration, videography, and audio engineering. All of these programs operate in conjunction with one another by having all participants in each program collaborating to create a real-world project for a designated business. We operate year round, with each program meeting once a week in a 2-3 month duration. After successful completion of a program, you’ll have a portfolio piece and access to our membership. Photography
Communicating your story through imagery, you’ll be able to explore the different areas in photography such as commercial, fine art, and fashion. All participants in this course will produce a portfolio of work with access to professional equipment, cameras, lenses, digital software, and printers.
Graphic Design
Exploring graphic communication through the principle elements of design, you’ll be able to bring an idea and develop that idea into a final two-dimensional document. All participants in this course will gain a foundation for solving design problems, a basic design vocabulary, with access to digital software and equipment.
Fashion Design
Expressing your personal style through apparel and textiles, you’ll be able to visualize a concept in three-dimensions while learning the mechanical skills of sewing machines and pattern-making. All participants in this course will construct a garment with access to fashion kits and sewing machines.
Drawing/Illustration
Building on the foundation of drawing and illustration, you’ll be able to develop conceptual storytelling and techniques to produce images for print and digital media. All participants in this course will use a combination of fine art and graphic design processes with access to digital software and art supplies.
Videography
Transforming a story into a movie, you’ll be able to learn directing, cinematography, editing, and sound design. All participants in this course will create a commercial, short film, or music video with access to professional equipment, cameras, lenses, digital software and sound equipment.
Audio Engineering
Hearing and exploring the creative science to audio, you’ll be able to produce and record audio by balancing and adjusting sound sources. All participants in this course will record music, create a podcast, or learn music production with access to digital software and studio equipment.
